Helicopter Spins Out of Control into Palm Trees at Well-Known California Beach
An aircraft soaring near a popular southern California beach abruptly started spinning uncontrollably, eventually descending rapidly and smashing into a line of palm trees as onlookers observed.
Videos uploaded on the internet depict the helicopter starting to spin above the shoreline then descending near the edge of the coast, where it gets stuck amidst palm trees and a set of stairs near the shoreline route.
First Aid Information
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five people were transported to a medical facility comprising two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the accident on Saturday.
Three persons on the street were injured. Details on their condition were still under review.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
Planned Function
Officials mentioned the helicopter was associated with an yearly “Cars N Copters” benefit occasion scheduled for Sunday.
